ok in my 1996 eagle talon esi for the driver side when i open the door the light doesnt go on or the buzzer doesnt go off if the keys are in the ignition.

also when the passenger side is open everything works fine. also when i open driver door with lights still on and keys out the buzzer still doesnt go off. got any suggestions?

Sounds like the door switch contacts are dirty or the ground has an open circuit.

You can try a topical application of WD40 and working the switch. If that doesn't work then a more aggressive intervention may be required by removing the switch, examining and cleaning contacts. It may be there will be so much rust that replacement will be required.

No, the door switch. The pushbutton at the lower-rear edge of the door frame. Just like the one that turns off the light in the refrigerator..... or did you know that doesn't stay on all the time?
