Too Lean, I can't get a break.

Ok I recently put a tsudo downpipe on my car which elimnates the cat, after this my A/F ratio or disco light, started to act really weird and said i was running lean. 3 days went by and then i Got a CEL. I had my tech look at it and the code was saying that the rear o2 sensor was bad, So i order a new one. A couple people said this would clear up my problem. I put it in and had the code cleared. a/f gauge is still not right. the next day the CEL comes back. Has anyone else experienced this when taking the cat off and how do I correct it? Any info would be appreciatted. I have a SAFC2 and it is just at base settings, i was gonna have it tuned in about a month. Thanks for the info.

Removing the cat will often throw the code for the rear O2 sensor, there isn't much to do, unless you run a DSMLink or it goes bad. the front O2 sensor should be the one the A/F gauge is reading, check that one.

Check your front O2 sensor and check your connections for your A/F gauge make sure they are good.

i'm replacing the front o2 tomorrow, I replaced the rear on a couple days ago. I hope this fixes it. I'l keep you all informed.
