heres the 411.....a month or so ago i installed a axle back mozart racing exhaust(konig), and also about 6 months ago i had the headgasket replaced and heads machined. Now in any type of temperature outside, i get some whitish smoke....and the car has no overheating problems and headgasket is new so it cant be that right?? Could it be my o2 sensor bad? i never reset my computer after the install....do i need to do that>?? :dsm:

thanks....any input is good...

it can't hurt to reset the computer. my guess is that that would help. after that wait til it gets used to ur driving again. i would do that right away.

It very well could be the headgasket... it may have been incorrectly installed.

White/blue smoke is oil burning in the exhaust. Steam is coolant or water burning in the exhaust.

Are you seeing this in the morning after you start up the car? If so, water consdenses in the exhaust if it sits out all night and takes awhile to burn out all of the moisture after you start it.

i dont think its the headgasket because it ran for month or so before the install and it didnt smoke before. it doesnt matter what time of day it is. After I drive around for like 20 min it goes away. but ti smells kinda sweet. also my gas mileage has been worse since i noticed this smoke. thanks for the replys.... :dsm:
