I have a 1992 1.8L and I just replaced the head, all engine gaskets, water pump, radiator, all coolant hoses, and a few sensors because my car overheated and blew the headgasket and cracked the head. It has been sitting since October, and ever since I got it all back together, it lets out a little puff of blue smoke only in gear, only going to WOT. Never any other smoke any other time. The car idles a little high (1400 range) but I have a feeling that the BISS is just adjusted too high by my mechanic. Other then that it is very smooth and has no power loss or anything. However, when at a high rpm (3500-4000 range) there is some spark knock. The only mod it has is an ebay intake and the pacesetter cat-back exhaust (dont blame me i hate it too it came on it) Anyone have any ideas? I really hope its not rings I do not feel like tearing apart this motor again. Thanks

TIm

:edit: I also replaced the head bolts and exhaust and intake studs with dealer ones, and i spent way too much time checking the torque and torque pattern on the head bolts, it is definitely dead on, ive seen many people ask that question
