Well, as far as I'm concerned, I tried everything in my power and budget to rid my GS-T of this issue. New parts are fuel filter, Bosch plug wires, and NGK BPK6ES gapped to .044(what AutoZone told me to gap the plug to.... I changed to these from BPR6ES gapped @ .028).
Right now, this is my situation. Hot or cold, the engine seems misfire and hesitate on normal acceleration between 2000 - 2500 RPM. Sometimes the engine will "hunt" between 2200-2500....like its missing or something.....
Other times I go WOT, the engine revs, but no power is built....one fine example is when 2nd gear was wound out to shift into 3rd @ at a whopping 40 mph. WTF
All this Devours Shitloads of Money action w/o a Check Engine Light too....Hmm...
This is a 1996 Eclipse GS-T, unmodified, 104k, Automatic...
Any ideas on what this may be?
Possibly the Coil? Fuel Pump? ......maybe Tranny?
This car is for sale btw too
