Dipstick Still Melting

hey just wondering if any of you guys are having this issue and how you prevent it from happening. I had a 2G dipstick which completely melted, went and picked up a 1G metal opne and the little rubber peice is beginning to singe.....but I have a tubular mani with heat wrap...had it all last fall and winter with no probs and know it has started again.

please help

Is the heat wrap still there? If its not then thats your problem, obviously, but im sure your not that dumb.

Maybe the heat wrap wore out? I dont know, I dont know that much about heat wrap, just an idea...
