6 bolt starting issues SEARCHED BUT NO ANSWER

as i said i searched but couldnt find anything

i put a 90 6bolt in my 95gst, so i have done the method 2 rre wireing stuff and swapped the coil blue wires and swapped the pins on the ecu, exactally like rre said to. i have triple checked the wireing and it is all 100% perfect. so it IS NOT the issue.

the issue is it will crank over it gets spark, it gets fuel at the rail ( i pulled the line and turned it over and fuel spurt out), all 4 plugs have spark, but none of the injectors are putting fuel into the combustion chamber. i pulled the plugs and turned it over and there was no sign of any type of fuel in any of the cylinders.

all the parts are good i removed them all from a 90 gst i have driven for the last year. i drove it into the shop before i pulled the engine and it ran 100% perfect. so i know for a fact the cas and such are good.

so WHY THE HECK ARNT THE INJECTORS FIREING???

i would like imput please no bs, no do you have fuel, its the cas its the ecu ect. they have all been switched with known working ones. please help

also i should mention. i check and im getting 10-12 volts at the injectors, also im not sure if the mpi fuse is intact as i cant find a mpi fuse on my 2g.. also all fuses under hood and under dash are intact and none are blown.
 
the injector harnesses need to be rewired. I think.
look at the writeup on magnus.com there is metnion of injector workings on the tech section.
 
was man i havnt seen you on tuners here for a long while.. welecome back

i noticed on magnus where it says that you need to swap the injector wires @ the ecu harness pins 1,2,14,15. ive done those as well. the injector wires were lengthened by the previous owner who had a 6 bolt in it. but i pulled and check and resoldered and heat wrapped the wires and they are all good.
 
Im sure you checked all the fuses and relays and what not,but i gotta ask, LOL.

and its not really possible for all 4 injectors to be bad.
when you Key on, do they give the initial squirt for firing?
 
ya thats all good. and all 4 injectors worked perfectally on the 90, when i key on i hear a ticking but its not from the injectors its something around the battery area.

im getting fed up with this.. pos dsm..
 
Hey John...
Can you take a log while you are cranking? I'd look at all the signals to see what they are doing... in particular the engine RPM and the battery voltage.

If that doesn't help, it's time to drag out the old volt meter. Check and record the voltage on each of the ECU Battery or IGN wires, with the volt meter negative connected to the negative post AT THE BATTERY. Then repeat this for the ECU ground wires (negative meter lead still at the battery).

Check each of the above both key on and while cranking, then post the results or hit me again on aim...

ya i dont have a 2g logger yet.. but i have already pulled out the volt meter. i was also goign to check the continuity between each injector plug and the ecu to make sure the signal isnt getting mixed up somewhat..

anyway hit me up on aim here soon so we can talk a lil more in person you guru you..
