My car has been parked for the winter, and I bolted on IC pipes/BOV/intake during the downtime. Last night I tried to drive it for the first time this year and the idle is fine, and it runs normally until it starts to make boost. At that point the engine RPMs stop climbing and the car hesitates and refuses to accelerate.
I have my MBC connected at the compressor and the wastegate, would it be better to tee off of the vacuum line to the BOV? Would that matter?
My boost gauge reads -15vac at idle, and when the problem starts is just around the time the needle gets to 0 or 1-2 psi.
It wouldn't appear that I have any leaks, there is no smoke from my exhaust, the only sensory indication that there is anything wrong is I can hear the turbo trying to spool but with no results.
I have a datalogger, so if any other information would be handy in the diagnosis of this problem, LMK.
Thanks.
