Hit boost, backfire, sputter, CEL.. WTF???

As the topic states thats pretty much what happens.

In first gear I get on it, I hear the turbo begin to spool and then BOOM i backfire like a bi***. THe car fells like i just locked up the wheels. It sputtes a bit then i get a CEL.

I give it a few seconds then its cool. I get on it again and its the same situation all over again.

I have MMCD but i cant get it to work so I have no idea what my car is doing. Can yall help.

HEy man i have the same problem with my 96 gst. when i stomp on the gas, in the high rpms it bucks at me all nasty and it feels like fuel cutor looses its power. but i cant have that because i dont even have upgraded turbo. Im stuck too. I dont know what to do.

I would, be thorough about it so you can at least rule it out for sure. A leak test is not complete until system is able to hold 20 psi reasonably.
