I installed a boost gauge today, and while doing all the wiring I unhooked the battery. I left it unhooked for 30-45 minutes. Now my car dies when it's in nuetral. I read somewhere, that when the battery is disconnected for this long, that the computer resets, and you may have some problems during idle while it tries to get the settings back. Could this be what my problem is? The car ran fine before I put in the gauge.

That could be your problem, but I'd definitely look for a vaccuum leak during your boost gauge install.
When the computer resets, your fuel trims go back to zero(or 100%), and it may hurt your idle. After driving the car for a day or two, the trims should adjust themselves back to where they need to be.

Again, check and double check for vaccuum leaks because this is probably the problem.

How would I check for a vaccum leak? I'm royally stupid when it comes to this kind of thing and I'm amazed that I acutually got the gauge in and working. Anytime my foot isnt on the throttle, the gauge does read 30 vac. would this maybe be a sign for a vaccum leak, or is this normal?
