What devices are on the MPI fusible link circuit? I have something drawing 1.5 Amps on this circuit when the car is off. It kills the battery overnight. If anyone has a diagram of the circuit and could email it I would be very appreciative!

Do you have to pull the MPI fusible link when you are not driving the car for a while (overnight)? I have considered putting a switch in the dash to break that circuit so we don't have to get under the hood every time. I still think someone should have a clue as to what this might be.

i replaced the mpi relay, bought it at satan ($70) and my battery didnt dye last night so i think i found my problem, ill post again tomorrow to see if my battery dies and tell u if that was the problem.

That's how I determined it was the MPI circuit. The 1.5A draw is through the MPI fusible which feeds the MPI circuit and goes into the ECU. I have a feeling that there are alot of things on this circuit. I guess we will have to just start disconnecting things one at a time to try to narrow it down.

my car didnt die last night eather, so it was the mpi relay, but now i need a new battery because when i play my radio for like ten mins and dont run the car after that my battery dies over night , i think its because i recharged my battery ove 10 times and its going bad.

Thanks for the suggestion! One question on the MPI relay. I had looked at it one day and it seemed that it was being held energized by something downstream from it. What energizes (completes the circuit) to the MPI relay itself? I know that the positive comes from the MPI fuse near the battery, where does the negative side come from?

CRAP, my battery keeps dyeing again, after i replaced the mpi relay it takes longer for the battery to dye than before, (about 11 hours now and before about 7-8 hours). I check my battery at auto zone and its good. what else can be the problem in the mpi circuit, does any one have any suggestions. thankx
