Sometimes i can be sitting still and the car will just die, or i can be driving and the car will die. it happens in all gears. i dont really know what to start looking at.

I have the exact same problem, 'I'm ready to drive the car off a cliff given the damn thing don't die out before I get there!' Any solutions to your problem yet? I sent my ECU out last year to a reputable shop to have it repaired but that didn't solve my problem, could still be the ECU though, but I don't know, maybe needs a brand new ECU from factory, who knows, well hopefully you might.

it could be your ecu, do you hear a clicking noise when it turns off?
A clicking noise all the time it dies, never fails, at least on my car. Do you have info that may be of benefit to us, I'm desperate...

is it a constnant clicking? Like the ecu clicks once when the car shuts off, thus notify you that its off. But if you hear a constant clicking right when your car turns off and its comming from the ecu then you've got a problem. Take out the ecu and see if you got capacitors leaking inside. if you do, send a message to Steve , thats his name on this forum. He did my ecu and it works damned great.

You said it dies while driving. Does it die driving down the road with your foot on the gas? or just when you let off. The reason I ask is it could have something to do with you Idle Speed Control or Base Idle if you car only has problems once the RPMS drop down to idle speed where the ISC trys to regulate to keep the car running. If you could describe the condition with a bit more accuracy that would help diagnosis a lot.

If your car is parked, and you rev the engine then let off the gas does it die or nearly die each time?

Well for me it does it at any time gas or no gas. The computer has been worked on already, in fact still under warrenty, so I have doubts about it being the computer. There is definately a click sound when the car dies, sounds like it's the fuel relay.

Anyhow sorry for bombarding your post, but it sounds like we both have the same problem, so maybe we can work to solve this issue....
