Alright, I've got a Autometer boost gauge that I'm trying to wire power to so when I turn my lights on, I get light to it. So I pulled apart my steering column and got to the blinker that controls the lights, and found the wire that got power once I turned the parking lights on. So I hook up the wire (I've already got the ground wire to the gauge grounded to the same bolt I'm using to ground my multimeter) but no dice, the gauge won't light up. But now when I hook up the boost gauge wire, my headlights stay on, even when they aren't switched on, and when I un-hook it, my headlights won't turn on, even when I turn them on. WTF??? All my console lights and parking lights work just fine, but I've ####ed up my headlights somehow, and my gauge just won't turn on at all. Anyone have any idea whats going on?
