I don't have a lot of mods on my car pretty much exhaust and E16G (stocker died so I got it early). I have knock pretty much soon as I hit boost. Anything with the throttle over about 30% that touches boost makes knock. I get it in every gear all though I have to floor it in 1st to do it. I tried re-wiring the fuel pump and it gets 14 volts at idle now. I know it's real knock because the counts are normally in the 20s and my head just got a rebuild from all the abuse. Pistons looked fine and one of the cylinders got a few scuff marks out of the deal. I'm going to run a compression test when I steal my tools back and a boost leak test when I can find a compressor. Vacuum is good 19 at idle so I pretty sure I don't have any massive enough leaks to cause such a bad knock. Aside from that I have no idea where to go. Any input on where to check out would make my day :talon:

It could be that you are running too lean.. The more air you pull in the lean the car with get. Since now you are pulling more in cause of a bigger turbo.. and not compensating with more fuel. what are some more of you mods.. stock fuel pump and inj? no AFPR still on 1g mass. a little more info on that i

Stock MAS, stock fuel everything injectors pump ect, new fuel filter and stock regulator though.

Timing does advance I can watch it on the data logger. I can get you guys a log if that would help. The timing is set to the base 5* from the head rebuild.
