Ok I got a 90 fwd turbo with the following

272/264 cams
1mm over valves titanium springs and retainers
No balance
20 over je's with eagle rods
2g mani
14b
Afc
450's
255 fuel pump
Stock boost controller
Stock exhaust no muffler (I know I know it's going away soon awd take all my attention)

And some other little stuff but any ways I’ve had this problem before but now there’s a new addition

This motor has a little over a 1000 miles on it after the rebuild but finally now I think I got most of the vacuum leaks outta it but to the main problem is that on a nice little 3rd to 4th gear pull getting on the high way I started to smell oil burning so I was only about 1/2 mile till home got it home popped the hood and oil every where on the hood next to the cam gear love bulge and all over in the plug valley right by the power steering pump and consecrated by the water neck pipe on the block and the dip stick was popped out as well the oil that was puddled in the plug valley looked kind of funny and thin stuck the old finger tester in it sniffed it smelled like gas...???? And wasn't real oily feeling

The gas smell is the new thing

But

I had the problem with my awd once before as well I corrected it with a new PVC and valve cover gasket and so far hadn't had any problems

Also the fwd had intermittent over heating problems thinking thermo stat but don't know

And as well the fwd had a problem with losing the brake on/after being under boost had to pump them about 2-3 time and they would come back fluid levels looked fine thinking brake booster or master cly. So ya guys have any input or ideas thanks guys in advance

Also be doing a compresion test tomorrow i'll update with readings

update pulled the plugs all where running lean as shit one was even missing part of the electrode...? so i was like ok did compression check little over 150 across the board but coolent was still missing so i'm thinking the the head gasket is leaking outta some where so i went down on the heat range on the plugs to 8es's and richened the shit of the afc to kinda tide it over for a bit i'll update as i go

OK well to day i swapped out the valve cover gasket and the PVC valve (which didn't even rattle it was so plugged) and replaced the thermostat and took it out no over heat and no oil leaks so i think i got the covered but the oil thing i don't know yet still miss fires under boost and i got the 450 based 13% over with the AFC seemed to help some i don't know yet i think the knock sensor might be going and pulling timing or some thing but that cat may be plug as well I'll take care of that tomorrow as well sawzall owns that tomorrow to test until i get the other exhaust on and do a oil change since that oil in there now is kinda separated......with gas i think smells like it.... but since i wasn't the one who didn't put this motor together or break it in hard saying i hate that not knowing but I'll hunt these probs as i go and keep things up dated

OK today's progress well i cut the cat out today god dang that thing was plugged it was causing the oil and gas to mixblowing by the pistons rings as well as the PVC valve just made way to much pressure in the motor runs freaking tits now other then the fact it's loud as crap with just the down pipe but don't worry only temp till i get the other exhaust on it and after i changed the oil no more gas in it so other then replacing the brake master Cly. i think it's good to go for a bit found out it's the check valve in it that's causing my under boost no brakes problem so i hope this helped any one out as i posted things didn't get much feed back on it so how having it here helps some one out.
