95 tsi..... wheres the cam sensor?

ok, i feel a bit stupid for asking, but where is the cam sensor on my 95 turbo? my manual showes 2 locations for the 95-98 turbo in 2 diffeerent chapters..... one shows it behind the cam gear and the other shows it on the other side of the intake. also, i pulled the timing belt inspection cover to try and look back there, if it is back there, how do you get to it, im willing to bet that cam bolt is going to be next to impossible to get out and that motor mount right there is in the way to get at anything back there. also, the book shows and states that there is one mounting bolt holding this on, the one i bought today has 2 mounting holes. any ideas please let me know. thanks all

Your cam angle sensor is behind the intake cam gear. Best way to get to it is to take off the cam gear, but you might be able to worm your way back there and take it off without taking the cam gear/timing belt off.
