major squealage

my brakes just started squealing on me and its really aggravating. i read about some lubricant that u can buy for cheap from auto zone. I was just wondering if this stuff can go on through the wheel, or do u have to take out the wheel and tire?

Squealling brakes is usually due to missing/damaged anti-rattle shims and/or spring clips (or sometimes partially stuck calipers). The lubricant you mention goes between the metal shims and the pad (small amount only) so you must remove the pads (and wheels). Do not get it on the pads or tires or rotors. It rarely works for long, if at all, as the real problem is something else. After market pads are notorious for not coming with all the proper shims and spring clips.
