Hey guys, i just wanted to know who is running these fans from slow boy http://slowboyracing.com/more.php?id=1541&PHPSESSID=74ed8af15d4b76da77b206c68030f6ce

How are they working for you? Because i'm having some problems with mine. I keep overheating and i just started messing with the wiring to see if it is on puller mode(which i'm pretty sure it is). Also should the fan be flipped? The acutual blade , because that is what the directions are saying but it still is blowing less than stock fans when it really should outflow them. I'm running a FMIC and 2 of these fans( i got them to fit) it should not be overheating. Thanks for any input.

I got the 12" one. What instructions
The blades are not reversable (as I also found out).

If you hook the wires up like you think they should: WH > WH ; BL > BL the fan will be in pusher mode. WH > BL ; BL > WH is puller mode. Puller is what I needed (stock PS fan replacement) and no overheating probs.

Took me a few tries to figure that all out but did help improve my soldering skills ;)

BTW.. I'm pretty sure this is the same fan sold on eBay for 1/2 the price (actually sold two for the same price)

Does anybody know what the best way to hook up the fans is. They way i have it now is just cutting the stock connectors from the old fan and connect thoes to the slim line fans, but i've read that the stock connector has 4 wires going into them because of a 2 high and 2 low power setup. Is this true and How to i get around it to get the fans going all they can. Heres the thread http://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/showthread.php?t=115061&highlight=slim+line

Are you doing the A/C fan? I did the other (P/S colling fan) and it had (2) wires to the fan and (2) wires to the collant temp sensor.
