New Motor Mount Needed?

I took my A/T 98 Eclipse to a shop today to see if they could figure out what this weird noise is whenever lower gears...(Example: from Park to Anything else except nuetral). The noise is a grinding noise that starts off low, then gradually gets to a higher grind sound. The tech looked under the hood as i shifted, and said the whole lower right part of my block moved when i shifted! Possible new motor mount? Need advice//ideas on how to fix it and how much it will cost!! Its spring break, i need to CRUISE!!

hmm, when i hear a grinding noise i usually associate it with the tranny, i couldnt see how a motor mount would make it grind like that, even if it is bad. you could always replace the mount and see if that fixes it

And if you decide to replace it get a solid front mount, best n/a upgrade ever imo

ok thanks guys, ill take it by jotech racing to see what they think But i agree, i believe its transmission as well. (DOH) ><
