So I posted a lil while ago about a timing belt

Now I just got a call and all they said was "they found something wrong with the head" I'm going down in person to get a full expliantion tommorow. I'm just wondering what kind of problem could be with the head? What would I be looking at?

The problem was The CEL came on and 3rd gear dident want to go.... I had to avoid 3rd gear and at some times 2nd gear

Its a 95 Eclipse GS

They 1st said it was the timing belt now something is "wrong with the head" its at the dealership... Any ideas?

Honestly, no idea.

They just said it was the timing belt, and I explained it to a friend and he also said it sounded like the timing belt....

Like I said, 3rd gear just dident want to go..

But I was told if they put in a new head im gonna have to sometime in the near future worry about a new crank shaft, valves, etc is this true?

It all depends on what happened, you should get an explanition from the shop then post back. Will help out a lot if you had more info.
