Ok so I did what they said and drilled out the pcv valve so the flow was right through. Than I hooked one line of the hose to the pcv valve, the other to the catch can. Than I ran the other line from the catch can to the other nipple on the valve cover. I hope that is right. Than blocked off the little nipple where the pcv valve hose went before. Drove the car, it ran fine, but looked like it was smoking really bad from the exhaust, than I noticed some smoke from under the hood.
So I put a new PCV valve in and hooked it back up like normal and everything is fine. Car runs like it did before. What the heck happend. What was going wrong.
I also noticed that there was a wire broken off at one of the sensors on the T-stat housing. I know I should go get that fixed, but what sensor is that. My temp gauge still works.
