Hi guys,
ive got a 98 eclipse A/T, and recently I've noticed that when I brake (like at a stop light or something), as soon as I'm about to stop completely, a grinding sound comes from either under the hood, or under the body...So I thought I might be low on transmission fluid. Did a full refill of that, and the grinding sound is still there! I recently took off the wheels and painted my calipers with VHT 1200 paint...but I really dont think this could be the problem. The 'urrrrrrrrrrrrk' sound only happens when I lower to around 1.3K-900 RPM, then idle at 600. Any idea what this could be??? Car shifts real smooth like always, but the noise is bothering me.
Thanks for any help!
