have had head checked and pressure tested and it had no cracks or holes and it is flat. when driving from 20-30 miles there ends up being approximately 2-3 quarts in the coolant in that time. the compression was checked and it was perfect all the way acorss. any suggestions on where to look or where to test. any help is greatly appreciated. thanks.

If he has a 90 like his profile says then he should have the Air to Oil cooler so no coolant is involved there.

Maybe the HG did not seal? Did you have the block checked to see if it was flat? If that is warped and the head is flat it can cause issues.

OMG My bad. You're right.

He said the head was pressure tested.. Leakdown test? What are your compression numbers from the compression test?

head gasket was checked and it was fine. compression was good. head was pulled and pressure tested and checked for flatness and it was perfect. no coolant in oil. makes for a unusal condition. its a 95 talon with a 6 bolt. it is a 2g oil cooler. so i should check the oil cooler? thanks again.

Yes if it has a water to oil Coller like the 2Gs have then get that crap out of there. Tear it out and get a air to oil one.

you all were right, it was the oil cooler. thanks for all the help from everyone that posted. i am so relieved.
