i was having an occasional mid rpm acceleration hesitation every once and a while. yesterday afternoon it took a turn for the worse. it started just mis-firing and running like total crap. well long story short it turns out cylinder 4 has no compression. head is fine. 1-3 are perfect. the engine only has a little more than 30k since the rebuild. but would it really be worth it to drop everything out the bottom and throw a new piston and rings in 4 and call it good and then think about selling it, (never actually done it but have techs at work that would probably help me out with it), or just selling it still running but obviously not great as is? would i have to take the head off or could i just put it up in the air and drop the oil pan and everything and do it from the bottom?

Pistons are a greater diameter than the distance between bearing support webs.
