ok, i am now confused, do we measure the gap in the crank with a feeler gauge, and quote the gap or the movement of the crank within the gap?

I took the pan off and right off the bat i can fit .021 feeler inside the gap, does this mean its crankwalked? Or do i then move the crank to the other side, measure the distance, and then calculate the difference, and is this the endplay that is supposed to be about .005??

Im confused now, because the gap is already .021 as it stands, LOL, so i am confused? If its supposed to be the actual play measured, then its not that much....help me out

with the clutch pushed in, its .021, with theclutch out and the flywheel pushed all the way to the clutch side, the gap is .027

this means the "play" is .006, is this correct? Is this what we are measuring for??

If so, good, if not, and my "play " is .027, im ####ed
