Aight i've done a search and all i get is it's between the ecu and stereo, well i looked and i see a relay up top, and then 2 things on the ground below that, that also somewhat look like relays. So is there just one relay between the ecu and stereo? because damn fuel pump isn't getting any power and the mpi relay isn't clicking at all when i turn the car into the on position. And also how do you go about testing the relay? or is it just that if the relay doesn't click at all when i put the car into the on position that the relay is bad?

i don't know if the MPI relays are in the exact same spot on 1gs and 2gs, but on a 1g the MPI relay is a little golden box (the same color as the ECu housing) and is about 2 inches by 2 inches by 3.5 inches. On a 1g is is mounted underneath the ECU on the firewall on the inner right hand panel (if that makes any sense :) ) good luck!

thanks but theres not a little golden box like the ecu there......i know the fuel pump isn't getting any power, or the fuel pump is just shot, so i just ordered my 2nd walbro 255hp to see if thats the problem. Hopefully its just that that fuel pump is bad, but if not i really need to figure out where that relay is.

Ok well your Fuel Pump relay, is right by your ECU. Its a black box. It will be bolted to the center console supports, right infront of the ecu. Now your MPI Fuse, is on your pos. battery cable right at the battery. There will be a group of 3 fuses. I believe it is the one farthest to the driver side. Hope this helps.

Thanks that helps a lot. Ok another question, i know when you turn the key to the on position, you are supposed to hear a click, followed by the fuel pump kickin in. I hear no click when the key is turned to the on position and no sound from the pump, but when i turn the key off i hear a click. Is that the fuel pump relay making the click sound.......oh ya the sound is comming from right behind the radio.

Somewhat confused now on where the mpi fuse is, you say it's by the pos. batt. cable, but i see no fuses there?.......or maybe i'm just an idiot and have no clue what i'm looking for

nevermind found it, i guess they are both located right next to eachother the MFI and the fuel pump relays. thanks for the help

Ok the only 2 relays that i have between my radio and ecu control the power windows/locks, and the other one is for the cruise control...........wtf anybody have a pic or something of where the Fuel pump relay is located.

got pissed off and quit, tow truck is picking the car up and taking it to the shop

Ok well I just realized that you ahve a 2g. I have a 1g. So the information I gave you could be wrong. Sorry for nto being able to help further.
Hope you get it figured out.
