i think i blew it

ok here's the story it's last friday i just finished my 6 month project with my car so i fire her up and everything sounds normal oil pressure's good , fuel pressure's fine as well everything is good to go . so i head out on the highway to break in the new part's i put on witch is dnp ex manifold, t3/t4 xs power turbo off ebay,apex'i n1 3in ex, walbro 255lph , aero fpr,and mitsumoto front mount ic with custom piping. so anyways i get off the highway everything's still fine so i go show off my work to all my people's at the weekend meet mind u that i'm the only one in the crew with a eclipse turbo all my boys have civic hatches with ls motors with turbo , stock gsr motor, or fully built type r (f'ing bastard). so i show them what i'v just done to my car and my friend with the type r suggest that we go to philly to see the race's down there so 7 of us head out . i'm on I 476 south and were flyin down the highway and all of a sudden i here a clanking sound coming from the belt side of the engine i get to the shoulder stop the car and it just did a complete shut down no electric power nothing. i open the hood and no smoke came out ,but when i check the dip stick it was completely dry, but next day when i got it back to my garage i put oil in her gave it a jump she weaky fired up but shut down again after i took the jumper cables off . i'm sorry this thread is so long but can somebody tell if i blew the block or something esle is wrong with my car
 
Need some more info, but if you take the jumper cables off and it dies the car has no electricity, meaning no juice in the battery and none coming from the alternator. Usually they both dont die at the same time....but it can happen. No oile on the dip stick though...if it was full, it had to go somewhere. either burning it out the tail pipe or leaking out the engine somwhere.....Check you plugs for oil residue, and spots on your driveway...

How much oil did you put in before you started it for the first time? Are you saying you didn't check it after the first few minutes of running? How much oil did you have to add when you got home?

Have you checked battery voltage? Did the battery short out on the hood?

A bad or dead battery will take a while to put any sort of charge _IF_ the alternator is working correctly. If it were running off the other car and the Alternator not working and the battery dead then I would expect it to die when cable were removed.

Chk battery, get charge if needed, chk mains fuse (70-80 amp), chk B+ on back of Alt. must have battery voltage. Chk crank pulley, chk Alt belt tension.

With large ratchet and socket on crank pully pull engine through by hand, listen for noises or unusual conditions as you rotate. Chk spark plugs for damage or other problems.

Start car if necessary with jumper battery and cables but leave on while you observe engine.

Hopefully all is well and the noises were from it backfiring/spitting as the plugs misfired because you didn't have enough battery voltage. (normal under these conditions)

Let us know what you find and the oil questions I asked.

well i did a new oil change ( 3 bottles of full syn castol and one bottle of lucas full syn) and she started up on her own power , but there's still a knock coming from the head, and heavy white smoke flowing out of the exhaust so i know for the most part i blew the head gasket

I don't know if you are telling me you did a new oil change NOW or when you had the head off.

If you put 4 quarts of oil when you First started the engine then you probably were 1+ quart low and should not have caused what you experienced if you did your work correctly. Pulling over to the side of the road may have the engine leaning to one side and thus never see any oil on the dipstick for you were already low 1 quart.

If the book calls for 5 quarts of oil THEN that is what you put... no if and but or nor for about it. You dipstick could have been the wrong one bla bla bla, the maker said this many and that is what you put.

I don't think you mentioned anything about smoke before... when did this happen?? Please don't make us guess at those things that are important if we are to help you. If you are ever in doubt, most gas stations pump pads are level so dumb people don't get out and have the car roll out into traffic. I don't know if you drive is level or not.

So why is it a blown head gasket, who told you this??? why can't it be a blown turbo seal???

The bottom line is you need to give info so the right people can evaluate as best they can what might be wrong.
