Crossthreaded

Well im in hell, MY top o2 housing to turbo bolt got crossthreaded on the turbo, the only thing i can think of is to pull the whole turbo and tap it (bi*** to do on cast iron) is there any other thing i can do? i thought maybe of going to a smaller bolt/ nut and runing it threw and bring it down tight like that, but i figure that would leak a little exhust? Any thoughts of a way i could maybe tap that with the turbo still on the car, im nut a supper mechanic so i dont really know.

I like the smaller bolt/nut idea, try it and see if it leaks.
