I have a question about a 1990 Mitsubishi Eclipse GSX that I'm thinking about buying. The guy that I'm buying it from says that the car won't idle right now. He says that an Apexi AFC will cure this. Is this true?
Here are the mods for the car:
- T3T4 turbo
- 2G ported manifold
- External waste gate
- 1G BOV vented
- 3000 GT fuel pump
- Ported & Polished head
- ACT 2600lb clutch
- Sidanza Aluminum light weight fly wheel
- Greddy turbo timer
So do you think an AFC will cut the idling problem or am I getting told BS?

Do some reading, it seems like this comes up every day... Sorry I guess since you're looking at buying it you're new to DSMs, but the owner disconnected the Blowoff valve to try and sell the car easier with the "rice" factor. These cars need to be recirculated.
