Alright first off im going to try to be as specific as I can so you guys know where im at with this.
I have just recently replaced the head on my 90 FWD Turbo Eclipse. The timing belt broke and bent the valves so I bought a new head that was preassembled with cams and valves already assembled.
I have finished installing all the parts and put on a new timing belt at the same time.
Well when I try to start it. It turns over fine but wont fire up. I have checked the following things with no luck.
1) I jumpered the fuel pump to make sure its working and it is coming on when jumpered.
2) I have checked the coil, transistor, wires and plugs and they all test good.
3) I took the ecu out and opened it thinking maybe it was this, it did have a burnt resistor in it so I bought another ecu, still no luck.
4) I checked the cam angle sensor to make sure it was good and not 180 degrees off and its fine also.
At this point im about ready just to take it somewhere and see if they can find out WTF is the problem but I hate doing that. I cant think of what else it could be so any help will be most appreciated.
Thanx
Jeremy
