turbo spike?

basicly it is boosting up to about 15 or 16psi and my data logger graph shows that it is spiking. the thing is, is that when i only boost to 12 it dosent do that is it a vacume leak do you think?the other problem that im having is when i get to about 5000rpm my rpm's slow down thats the best way i can explain it its hard to explain. some people think that it is a fuel cut but i have 550 injectors and a 250walbro. i also have a safc do think that just needs to be adjusted or do you think that it is related to a vacume as well? my car dose idle high right now at about 1500. so i think its a vacume leak but i wanted to see what you all thought thanx. please help im about ready to drive it off a cliff

Do you mean when when you set it at 12 it spikes to 15? Do a boost leak test anyway.

no whenb its set at 12 it dosent sprik it dose the rpm thing. ya this weekend ill do the test ive never done it before have any suggestions?

Yes get a compressor, bicycle pump is a wast of time.
