yea so i went to go start my car for the morning before i leave for school, and i come back out to scrape the windows and i go by the exhaust and the snow behind it is covered in carbon. it was only at idle(well considering that the idle goes from 300-1500 every few seconds) i can't figure this thing out. i dont know if it is the fuel injectors, FPR, or my timing. ive tried to set ignition timing but i couldnt see the line when i went to do it. i think my cams are off a couple of teeth, but the car has incredible power so i kinda ruled that out but still an option. also my vacuum is horrible...7-11 at idle and 20-21 when leaving it in gear and letting the gear slow me down. i checked the underside for bad hose but couldnt see any(underneath the intake manifold) i would do the taboo thing but i can't understand some part of it that makes me afraid to do it. any help would be greatly appreicated. and if anyone from eastern nebraska would like to help(for free) that would be great too!

thanks

ok here whats i have..

pacesetter header(aluminized ...no longer need to worry about cracking)
small 16g
port and polish intake, head, exhaust manifolds
valves been reseated and what not(rebuild head with less tahn 5K)
stock injectors but i have another set of 450 waiting to be sent out to see if my originals are shot
vented bov(ive done the recirculated but nothing has changed)
free mods
timing done along with the head...did it myself before i knew too much...so i bet its my timing...

Bingo, we have a winner. Without the blowthrough MAFT setup you run rich. Some cars can tolerate it, but they all run rich.

BTW: Ceramic coated, aluminized, anodized, vulcanized... that manifold will crack.

aluminized is way different then anodized and others...

aluminized is a type of metalizing which makes the material harder than steel. i can't remember what type of aluminum we used but 8 months still no cracks....pushing 16 psi...
