2G brake light issue

Ok, this is a little weird. My brake lights are stuck on when the headlights are on and the parking brake is disengaged. They are not stuck on during the day. Any ideas on what this might be???

Check the rear bulbs and the connectors they plug into for something wrong (shorted, corrosion, etc). Do the brake lights work when you press the brake pedal and the headlights are off? I don't why you mention the parking brake (unless you mean the brake pedal).

Yes they work fine when the lights are off. It only seems when the car is in gear that they don't go off. They even go on when I engage the clutch.

When did this start happening and what was done to the car just previous?

Not sure when it started happening. Nothing has been done recently, the I did install a boost gauge but that was almost 4 months ago. Not sure that I would have gone that long without noticing.
