1G-specific Help needed! Whining sound (sound clip inside)

for a month ago the timing belt, and all of its benefits was changed in my car. But since I got the car it has been whining somwhere from the timing are. If I step on the gas the whining just get louder? This is really annoying sound but I am so afraid that something is harming the engine. What should I do? I know it´s not an other belt, I´ve checked them out. Could this be wrong timing or could the timing belt be to tight...please ...what should I do...? ...sorry for my bad english..!

use a big screwdriver or a real mechanics stethascope..

I have a feeling it's your powersteering bearings.. (check the PS fluid level as well, when it gets low it gets really whiney)

my money is on that you didnt get the belt on right

there is a lot of tenson on that timing belt and when you go to put it back on the marks dont line up perfectly till you turn over the engine a few times. a lot of people put them back on wrong and end up bending valves because the timing is off...this also puts out a bad whining sound. i suggest you find someone who knows how to do it right and get it put back on. and check your valves.

So I need to check the timing marks? and belt tension? I´ll maybe post a photo of this when i´ll start.
