Small corner of FMIC fins pushed in

I have a GReddy FMIC installed on my 95 GST. Over the past little while my front kit was slightly rubbing against the bottom left hand corner of the intercooler. Some of the fins are now slightly pushed in. I have taken the bumper cover off and I am going to work on fitment so that isnt my concern - what I want to know is if I can put these fins back in place or since the area is small should I just forget about it? The area damaged is probably 7cm wide and 5cm high. I don't want to break any of the fins trying to straighten them.
