i have a greddy type-s bov and i was just wondering what are the signs of the diaphragm breaking on the inside? because i have been hearing about how the are prone to break? thanks
 
Im not sure what it sounds like when it breaks, but if it breaks, you will definately notice because your car wont hold boost. I havent heard anything about them breaking though really. A guy i work with actually has a GST that dyno's around 320 whp running 26psi and he really hasnt had a problem with it. It actually sounds really good, not like your typical type s. :talon:
 
well speaking of boost...i am having major boost creep problems...now it could be random but i mean i have talked to a lot of people and i have the 02 housing with the dump and i just bought a monster turbine housing, because even with the o2 i was still having major boost creap...when this diaphragm goes, does it just not hold boost at all? or can it act like boost creep...just wondering....thanks
