car won't boost

I was cruising along to school today in 5th gear, i went to speed up a little and there was just no power. I looked at my boost gauge and sure enough, it was hanging just under 0psi.

So i drove to school and back with metro-like power and when i got home i let it cool and checked all my vac lines and the wastegate actuator. Didnt find any problem with the vac lines and the actuator arm is attached to the wastegate correctly.
I have not yet checked the turbo itself, but I last checked it for shaft play a couple weeks ago and there was none.

Is there anything else that I am missing?

My only mod is a hallman MBC.

We're talking 0psi on an aftermarket boost gauge right?

Pop off the intake pipe and see if the turbo still spins (it should spin almost effortlessly).

yeah. aftermarket gauge. and trust me- theres no boost. haha.

i'm waiting for the turbo to cool a bit further before i stick my hand on the impeller.

edit: a new 16g fixed that problem.
