Could my Clutch be going bad? please help

Hey guys, im a 91 awd tsi running 15lbs. and with all the snow around and my new bov, ive been having a field day latley crusin around awd style.

everything has been fine, untill recently. today i got in the car and in 1st and 2nd gear the car pulls fine, but then i get into 3,4,or5 and when the turbo spools the clutch slips. or, i dont get any acceleration and the cars rpms just go up.

in 1 and 2nd gear i get full boost full acceleration with no problem. i thought if a clutch were going bad then 1 and 2 slip first not 3, 4, and 5?? any help here is appreciated.

also, anyone got a GOOD deal on an ACT clutch?

actually, the clutch would be more likely to slip in a higher gear, like 3rd, 4th ,5th since you are actually putting more of a load on the CLUTCH at that gear ratio.....so yeah, thats probably your problem, you've been having a lil to much fun....

yeah , im almost 99.9% sure its your clutch , happened to me a month ago when our ice hit and i had to much fun , slipped in higher gears, then wouldnt go at all , , anyways good luck with the install
