Alright ive searched and the most ive found was you need a jewlers screwdriver to switch pins 6-14, but i dont see any screws on in or on the connector to the wiring harness. Are they that small? Could someone post a link of a how-to or if anyone knows (steve!) and could tell me exactly how id appreciate it greatly!

i got an idea how about you cut the wires on the harness leave some slack on the two wire strip them, cross them, solder them. what more do you need electrical tape to cover them.

No need to cut the wires, use something like small screw driver fir glasses and it should pop off.

You'll see a little divider between the top and bottom pin. Pull this out, then if you look in the end of the plug you'll see a little catch that holds the pin in. Lift this up with the jewlers screwdriver of some similar tool and the pin will pull right out.

Well you have to pull the pin out but that exactly how you do it.

You paying attention x camaro owner??? Just about every connector in the car has a way to release the pin. The FSM show how to do most of them. As an aside if you ever have to splice wires, you use heat shrink tubing not electrical tape.
