I have a GReddy type s on my car. It's vented right now, because I just got the car and it didn't come with a recirculation tube. I haven't had time to get a recirculation tube.

When I first got it, the BOV fluttered when I let off the gas. I adjusted it to it's softest possible setting, and it still flutters.

I also tried hooking up the lower nipple to my turbo outlet pipe. At full boost, it makes a "CHOO" sound, like a sneeze, but it still flutters.

Is it possible that a boost leak is responsible for this flutter?

I was having the same problem for the longest time, so I went ahead pulled the top and removed the smaller spring from the BOV. After that the BOV sounded great, I had absolutely no flutter and very little whine, mostly at low low boost. Unfortunately I don't have the stock screw, and the thread stripped so my BOV is wounded right now. If you go ahead and remove the smaller spring inside the BOV you should be fine, just be sure to be careful when your pulling the top off that nothing takes your eye out, and to set your BOV a bit harder then it was.
