Lately the weather has been 10 degrees or below. When the temperature is warm or so i can pull the lever in the car for the trunk and the gas lid to open. Since lately it has been below 0 degree and the lever froze or something. It won't pull up to unlock the trunk and the gas lid. I tried to use the key to open the trunk but the key won't turn and open the trunk.

Thanks.

I need some help please. I need to be able to put stuff in my trunk and get it out easily, instead of pulling down the seats.

Locks could be frozen, lines could be frozen...Do you have access to a warm garage? The best thing to do would be bring it in a garage, let it warm up, then try it. My gas tank was frozen shut after I left the car outside in an ice storm, whatever you do dont pry it open. I just brought mine into my garage and it was fine. If you cant get to a garage, heat your key up and then try it. Might want to add a little graphite into the lock while your at it.

I just noticed you said it works when the car is warm...so obvioulsy there is moisture on the cable that is freezing and holding it up. Try a box of baking soda in the car to drain the moisture out along with doing the other stuff.

I didn't say when the car is warm....I meant when the temperature outside is warm...no offense
