Embers from exhaust?

As my friend and I were playing around today he noticed some ambers coming out of my exhaust as i flew past him. its happened before at the track when i run 100 octane, but im only putting 92 in now... idk if it is my timing that is off making it run extremely rich or what...any input would help me out greatly.
