i have an oil leak on the backside of my g/f's motor. does anyone have any idea what it could be from. as far as i know the only things on the backside of the motor are the starter and intake manifold, neither of which have anything to do with oil. help me out here
ps its a 91 awd tsi. thanx

Check the valve cover gasket. Look right back where the valve cover meets the head. You could try tightining the valve cover bolts. Get the torque specs and don't over tighten them. If that doesn't help you will probably have to replace the gasket.
Also check the lines coming out of the valve cover. Find the leak and try to trace it to the source.
