car wont boost and bov wont go off

sup yall..i juss installed my .50 trim t3t4 on my second gen eclipse, and wanted to make sure it ran before i invested in any other parts. when i drive it will spool, but psi seems really low. i should be running around 9 psi if i dont have a controller shouldnt i? and my type s bov will not go off. someone told me my wastegate was not working. any ideas?

How much boost are you actually seeing? You could have a huge boost leak or your wastegate is stuck open.
