hey, I have a 1g Eagle talon TSi and having a issue! the most. alright I was driving the other day and all of a sudden it felt like my throttle was gradually raising... and it wouldnt go down. I stopped moving then all of a sudden it kept gradually going higher and higher.. till I Turned the car off @ around 6k... what could cause the rpm's to raise like that? throttle position sensor? im dumfounded the throttle cable isnt stuck on anything.. everything seems free to move.. so idea's?? thanks alot!

have you messed with the tps lately? If not, how about unplugging it then drive and see if problem still persist, also check to see if throttle cable is too tight because that might cause the throttle body to be slightly opened even when not on accelerator hence the gradual increase in speed.

aite, well getting my car from the shop tomorrow (yea the ####ers did timing belt job and didnt tighten shit down, so my shit slipped teeth and bent valves! I love retards) and going to bring a extra ECU to see if it maybe is going bad who knows.

Did you ever figure out what was wrong, my car is doing the exact same thing. anyone else have this problem
