Is there a way to completely disable or remove the abs? It's technically disabled now, because my front right sensor is disconnected (I had to snap the wires to get the hub off the axle so I could replace my clutch). So is it possible to completely get rid of it?

Thanks,

OK well to get the ball rolling. according to the dsm manual there are to diffrent proportioning (sp) valves, the 4 port on and a 6 port one. The 4 port is for the abs cars, key is the abs one is missing the primary and secondary port for the master cylinder. I have a non abs one on my 95. which confuses me a little bit due to the fact that the abs unit is suppost to take care of the primary and secondary inputs from the mater cylinder. i believe all i will need are 2 T splitters and remove the abs by putting the fronts and backs together.

anyone have any other ideas?

well, i have been involved with the dsm community for about 4 years now, and no one can tell me why my 95 which doesn't have abs has abs. I have the wheel cogs, CV joints, abs motor and i am checking today of the existence of the ABS ECU. However i do not have the fuse box for abs nor a abs light on my console. so, don't need it, don't want it and it takes up a lot of space in the front of the car.

good enough?

and may i ask why we are doing this?

Becase not all of us like ABS :D
I would much rather not have it personally. I have yet to find it all that useful and it kills brakepads faster than anything else. I am on my 7th car and out of the 7 , 2 have had ABS. The 2 that had abs chewed through pads like no one elses buisness. At first I thought it was just becaue of the heavier car, then I got a 97 Cavy with ABS and it still chewed through pads. Then on top of that, My abs motor has been giving me weird troubles from day 1, and from talking to mitsu, that is not a piece i want to have to replace :(
