toronto,
hey guys, problem started about 10 days ago, turn the car on, runs fine, doesnt show any alternator warning lights etc, battery voltage is good. BUT all my lights flicker constantly, non-stop as long as the car is running, and I mean all of em, gauges, cluster, interior lights, headlights, taillights, its quite annoying and dangerous to drive at night, cause my taillights I'm sure cause quite the visual distraction on the road.
anyone have any thought to this problem?
thanks for the help

its about 14v with the car running, and I dont believe it to be the alternator dying, maybe something wrong with wiring of it though.
I should just check all ground straps? the battery is about 3months old.

ya idle moves around slightly for 900-1050 I would say, but its never idledperfect from day 1...

I had a similar problem a while back. My lights would flicker constantly but the idle was jumping up and down constantly. Found out that my cam angle sensor was barely firing. If your idle is slightly moving up and down slowly, more and likely thats not it. Best thing to do is just check for ground wires and make sure theres no shortages or such.

I had this problem once. I solved it pretty easy by going downtown and stopping in the middle of brodway, putting in some deep progressive techno music and stood on the roof of my car and danced for 1/2 hour. Everyone thought the lights flickering were normal and I felt better about the whole deal :thumb:

Check your underhood fusible links. One of them has a short in it.
