biss screw

hey guys,

what all do i have to do to change the biss screw in a 1g. its my last boost leak to fix

After you fix it, and have it set where you want it. Throw some RTV over it. That way it has a harder time backing out on you...Also, dont worry you can get it back out if you have to.

Is there a way to get the BISS out completely? I've tried magnetic screwdrivers but then heard the screw wasn't metal I want to change the o-ring on it, but it only backs out so far.. I've tried about everything to get it out.. Any suggestions?

Try some pliers once it's all the way out.

hehe,tri this.loosen it all the way then have your buddie stand over it.then all you have to do is start it and rev it.the damn thing will come screeming out of there and hit him in the face.well thats what happened to me anyway

I actually had to get at it from behind the throttle body. try a shop vac

Spray in a bit of WD-40, then RTV it, and it'll come out like somebody meant it should.
