Weird car noise!!

i got a 95 gsx with some mods.

When i started up my car around 7 pm at 25-30 degress outside, The car warmed up nicely. I released the e-brake and I started to drive but heard this noise from the rear passenger side. It sounded like a long screech like metal sraping on a metal surface. It also slows down the car and make it feel as though it is holding the car back. This happens to only that side of the wheel. Later on while driving the sounds is gone and the car feels like it is released from the e-brake or something.

Take the rotor off on that side and give the ebrake system a lookover. Also, check the calipers because I have heard stories about those seizing.

You've answered your own question, the ebrake cable is probably froozen. Make sure the pads are not complete worn out which causes the noise you're describing.
