temperature problem

Hey i just installed a used 93 radiator on my car. My old one was leaking. With the new one, when i start my car it warms up fine, but when i start to drvie it the temp goes down. is that normal??? also i dont have the a/c fan in. any help would be appreciated thanks

Always. When my fan relay crapped out, I had to rely SOLELY on getting the car moving to cool it down. It's normal. Don't worry about ever putting your A/C fan on, I got cold A/C even with my fan out, you just have to keep moving.

Depends on how much the temperature is going down? Yes it is normal to see the temp lower when moving vs. sitting still, maybe ~ 1/8th of a tick mark (white marks on your gauges). If it decreasing a lot, I would check your thermostat. Good practice whenever you have the coolant drained, replace the thermostat too.

thermostatscost about $8-$10. They are cheap and easy to install.
